High Five Life

Our final morning we had to check out and be at the Magical Express pick up by 8 am for an 11:30 flight from Orlando.  We packed, checked out, dropped off our luggage at Magical Express and grabbed breakfast at Everything Pop.   We ended our trip still having two counter service meals but hey, you can only eat what you can eat.   We flew down on Airtran and back on Southwest.  Technically they are the same company but the merger was still in the process and because of this the transfer wasn’t working and we had to check our own luggage.  It really wasn’t a big deal to us.  We took the bus back to Orlando airport and checked our luggage then headed to our gate.  We didn’t have to wait long before we began boarding.  I don’t like that Southwest doesn’t have assigned seating.  We ended split up but the girls were able to sit together and hubby and I sat together.  The majority of the people on the plane were going home from Disney.  It was kind of cool.  The girls watched a movie

Saturday October 12, 2013 Animal Kingdom Since daughter had been feeling sick and we didn’t have reservations until 2 pm, we decided to let everyone sleep in.  I used My Disney Experience last night to change all of our fast passes to after our lunch reservation.  I again had trouble getting the software to cooperate with my android tablet but eventually I was able to make the changes.   We all got up between 9 am -10 am. Daughter decided she was feeling well enough to go ahead and go into the park earlier than we planned. We ended up at the park by around noon. We rented a wheel chair for hubby and then we took it kind of slow. We did some shopping and slow walking.  Everyone was hungry so we stopped in Pizzafari. We really should have just gotten snacks because we were full before our 2 pm Tusker House reservation, but we did what we did.  Pizzafari is a counter service restaurant that serves typical American cuisine such as pizza, sandwiches, salads and pasta.  I

Friday, October 11, 2013 Hollywood Studios Daughter woke up not feeling very well this morning. She was warm, lethargic and feeling miserable.  We had 10 am fast passes for Toy Story Midway Mania followed with 11:30 reservation for the Sci-fi Dine-in Theater Restaurant. I tried to change our fast passes to a later time but it appeared all of the fast passes had been handed out for the day. I had software issues with the app, it doesn't seem to play well with android devices. We talked as a family and decided we would let the fast pass go and make it for our restaurant reservation. This would allow for all of us to rest a little and maybe daughter would feel better. We also considered canceling the reservation and just hanging by the pool but daughter would have none of that. Eventually we caught the bus to Hollywood Studios.  Hubby  was having mobility issues right away so we just went ahead and rented a wheel chair rather than waiting until later in the day.
